About the Doctors
Dr. Glen Goleburn, DMD
Dr. Glen Goleburn was born in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1961. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and then entered Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1987. He completed a general practice residency at the Medical Center of Delaware (now Christiana Care), and began private practice in 1988.
Dr. Goleburn has been active in dental organizations such as the Delaware State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, serving as public information office and then president, both of the Delaware chapter.
In 1993, Dr. Goleburn completed training at the Montefiore Medical Center to enable him to provide intravenous or IV sedation. This technique allows apprehensive patients and patients with gagging or certain medical problems the chance to have dental treatment completed in a general dental office. He has a certificate in conscious sedation from the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
In his spare time, Dr. Goleburn enjoys sailing and music, having played keyboards in local bands since the ’70s. He is married and has two children and a step-son.
Dr. Junior Dover, DDS
Dr. Dover holds a BS in Chemistry from Cameron University in Oklahoma. He attended dental school in Washington, D.C., at Howard University, and did a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at Howard. Dr. Dover served 14 years in the United States Army. Recently married, his interests include art, sports, reading, and movies. His philosophy is "Live life to leave this world a little better than you entered it."
Dr. Dawn Grandison, DDS
Dr. Grandison began her dental education in her native island of Trinidad, West Indies, and transferred to Howard University, graduating in 2000. She did a two year General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University, working in the hospital systems in New Orleans and Biloxi, Mississippi. She is certified to do conscious sedation. Dr. Grandson's interests include music, Shotokan and Tai Chi. She is a member of the volunteer Medical Reserve Core. Prior to Bear-Glasgow Dental, she was the dental director of a Community Health Center dental practice in Dover, Delaware.
Dr. Douglas DeCouto, DDS
Dr. DeCouto was born and raised outside of Annapolis, MD. He earned a BS in Physiology-Neurobiology from from the University of Maryland in 2002, and graduated in 2006 from Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He did a General Practice Residency at Christiana Care, and joined Bear-Glasgow Dental in 2007. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.He resides in Newark, where he enjoys riding motorcycles and painting.
Dr. Neil Woloshin, DMD
Dr. Woloshin grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, and attended The Tatnall School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 1989. In 1995 he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and then did a one year General Practice Residency in Reading, PA. He is an avid skier, enjoys golf, sailing, and the beach. He is married with twin girls.
Dr. Kathy Kirifides, DDS
Dr. Kirifides earned her degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 1996. Prior to attending dental school, she earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. She completed her residency at the Ohio State University School of Dentistry. Before joining Bear-Glasgow Dental, Dr. Kirifides practiced dentistry in both Virginia and Pennsylvania. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and strives to make every dental visit a gentle, stress-free experience. She is a member of the Delaware State Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Moon Cha, DMD
Dr. Moon Cha, the latest addition to our practice, is a graduate of University of Delaware and recived his dental degree at Temple University (Top student in his class, Summa Cum Laude). After graduating from dental school, Dr. Cha completed his residency program in General Dentistry at Chrisitana hospital. Dr. Cha continues to learn latest techniques and knowledge for better patient care through numerous continuing educations and holds memberships in the American Dental Association, and the American General Dentistry. Dr. Cha provides general dental care to patients of all ages. Dr. Cha believes in patient education and thinks of pateints as co-therapists, and always tries to build trusting relationships with patients. Dr. Cha is fluent in Korean.
